Make the right soup.
Bring the right ingredients.

Use this reference for eight starter soups, then use the interactive planner to scale a recipe to your team’s needs.

Starter soup recipe table

Each entry makes four portions by default, using a pot filled with 1,000 ml clean water. The Cooking reference lists a two-minute cooking time for each. Serving Seconds adds two portions; enable the option only if the perk is active in your game.

How the batch calculation works

Required pots = target servings divided by portions per pot, rounded up. Each listed ingredient is needed once per pot. Missing quantity = required pots minus your inventory count, never less than zero.

For example, nine servings of Simple Tomato Soup without the perk need three pots: three Tomatoes, three Salt and three litres of water. That produces twelve servings, leaving three spare. With two Tomatoes and one Salt in your pantry, collect one more Tomato and two more Salt.

Why did my soup turn bad?

Check the exact ingredients

Do not swap a cooked item for its raw version, one meat cut for another, or Tomato for Super Tomato. Adding an extra ingredient can also break a recipe.

Check your cooking setup

Soup requires Cooking level 3, a filled cooking pot and a powered stove. Use clean water, and check that the pot’s name changes to the intended soup.

Does the planner spend my inventory?

No. Every recipe is evaluated independently against the same pantry. Planning multiple different soups at once is not supported. Adjust counts after cooking.

Can I put three batches into one pot?

No. This tool calculates supplies for separate pots or repeated cooking cycles. Follow the exact single-pot recipe each time.
